Calgary tax lawyers awarded Diamond Jubilee Medal

Felesky Flynn LLP is pleased to announce that D. Blair Nixon, QC and Sandra E. Jack, QC have been awarded the Governor General’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.

This commemorative medal was created to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada and is being presented to 60,000 deserving Canadians to celebrate significant contributions and achievements.

D. Blair Nixon, QC was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his outstanding contributions to Aboriginal rights; Democracy advocate; past President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta; and contributor to tax policy matters in a number of forums on August 20, 2012.

Sandra E. Jack, QC was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her outstanding contributions to the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF), a not-for-profit organization devoted to the sharing of tax knowledge on November 25, 2012.
